§ 71.38 LEFT TURNS.
   When a left turn is intended to be made, it shall be the duty of the driver to, at least 50 feet before beginning said turn, signal his or her intention by extending his or her hand and arm horizontally from the left side of the vehicle or by a signal lamp or device of a type approved by the State Department of Roads.
