The municipality also provides and maintains street signs throughout the incorporated area. The street signs provided by the municipality are standardized signs which are consistent with state and federal guidelines related to placement, visibility and safety. The municipal street signs are not to be considered decorative signs and the municipality will not replace decorative signs which are offered as developmental amenities. Maintenance and replacement of street signs is undertaken on a planned, programmed basis under the jurisdiction of the Board of Works and the municipal administration.
