Sec. IV-1.0 ELECTION AND TERM.

The Mayor shall be elected at a regular Municipal election. The term of the Mayor shall begin on the first day of January next following his or her election and the Mayor shall serve for a term of four (4) years or until a successor is elected. No person shall be elected for more than two (2) consecutive four-year terms.
