The Mayor is authorized to determine the existence of a public emergency which is beyond the power of local law enforcement to control and take the necessary steps to request the assistance of the Ohio National Guard to aid local authorities. In the absence of all of the officials designated in Section 268.01 above, the Chief of Police is authorized to exercise the authority contained in this section. (Ord. 109-2017. Passed 12-19-17.)
