1086.01 DEFINITIONS.
   As used in this chapter:
   (a)   "Ashes" means the residue from the burning of wood, coal, coke or other combustible materials.
   (b)   "City" means the City of Perrysburg.
   (c)    "Director" means the Director of Public Service of the City.
   (d)   "Garbage" means putrescible animal and vegetable wastes resulting from the handling, preparation, cooking and consumption of food.
   (e)   "Person" means any person, firm, partnership, association, corporation, company or organization of any kind.
   (f)   "Refuse" means all putrescible and nonputrescible solid wastes, except body wastes and yard wastes, including garbage, rubbish, ashes, street cleanings and dead animals.
   (g)   "Rubbish" means nonputrescible solid wastes, excluding ashes, garbage and yard waste, consisting of both combustible and noncombustible wastes, such as paper, cardboard, tin cans, wood, glass, bedding and crockery.
   (h)   "Yard waste" is as defined by the Ohio Administrative Code.
   (i)   "Recyclable materials" means any items separated from refuse for reuse.
   (j)   For purposes of the rules governing the Bureau of Sanitation, "Dwelling" is defined as a single family house, condominium unit, an apartment building with six or fewer apartments, or a federally subsidized housing project for the elderly, disabled or infirm.
   (k)   “Construction and building materials" means items such as but not limited to: cabinets, concrete, drywall, fencing, lumber, plumbing pipes and fixtures, kitchen fixtures, bathroom fixtures, hot tubs and wooden playground structures.
   (l)   "Medical waste" means items such as but not limited to: catheters, IV tubing and IV bags.
   (m)   "Sharps" means hypodermic needles, lancets and syringes.
   (n)   "Street fruit also referred to as yard fruit" means fruit, nuts or seed pods including acorns, apples, buckeyes, hickory nuts, maple seed spinners, peaches, pears, seed pods from catalpa and locust trees, and walnuts.
   (o)   "Toter" means the City-supplied refuse and recycle curbside containers.
   (p)   "Unlimited collection" means acceptable refuse items that are too large to be placed in the City refuse Toters.
