1050.10 WASTEWATER/SEPTAGE HAULING REGULATIONS.
   All wastewater/septage haulers who engage in the business of picking up, transporting or disposing of wastewater or septage at the Perrysburg Wastewater Treatment Facility must comply with the following provisions:
   (a)    Definition of Terms.
      (1)    "Domestic waste or septage" means the liquid-borne waste resulting from normal domestic activities, including but not limited to cooking, washing, cleaning, bathing and disposal of sanitary waste.
      (2)    "Wastewater Treatment Facility" means the City of Perrysburg Water Pollution Control Division located at Number 1 West Boundary, Perrysburg, Ohio, 43551.
      (3)    "Domestic wastewater hauler" means any person or group of people who engage in the business of owning or operating vehicles for the purpose of transporting and disposing of domestic wastewater or septage from a sewage disposal system to another location for disposal.
      (4)    "Sewage disposal system" includes septic tanks, holding tanks, cesspools, privies or other equipment used to store, hold or treat waste of a domestic nature.
   (b)    Discharge Conditions.
      (1)    Any domestic wastewater hauler as defined in Section 1050.10(a)(3) must register and receive a license from the Wastewater Treatment Facility. This license must be renewed annually and will expire December 31st of each year
      (2)    The City of Perrysburg Wastewater Treatment Facility will accept domestic wastewater or septage only as defined in Section 1050.10(a)(1). Wastes from industrial processes, agricultural operations or wastes containing hazardous or toxic substances are specifically prohibited.
      (3)    Each domestic wastewater hauler shall comply with all applicable Water Pollution Control Division rules and regulations
      (4)    Violation of any or part of these conditions may result in the loss of discharge privileges.

   (c)    Domestic waste haulers discharge rate per 1000 gallons shall be based on the percentage of plant operations versus total operations (Collection and Plant), multiplied by the minimum charge per billing quarter specified in Section 1050.02. This rate shall be approved by City Council by motion.
