709.16   VIOLATIONS; PENALTY.
   It shall be unlawful to locate, erect, construct, reconstruct, enlarge, change, maintain, drill or use any structure or land in violation of any provision of this chapter. Any person, firm or corporation found violating any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a first degree misdemeanor, and, upon conviction therefor, shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) and imprisoned for not more than six months. Each and every day during which such violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
