§ 93.19 STATE LAW ADOPTED BY REFERENCE; SPEED RESTRICTION.
   (A)   Applicability and enforcement. The provisions of this section shall apply to the waters of Lake Pepin. This section shall be enforced by the officers of the village.
   (B)   Intent. The intent of this section is to provide safe and healthful conditions for the enjoyment of aquatic recreation consistent with public rights and interests and the capability of the water resources.
   (C)   State boating and safety laws adopted. State boating laws as found in Wis. Stat. §§ 30.50 through 30.71 are hereby adopted by reference as if set forth in full herein.
   (D)   Definition. For the purpose of this section, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      SLOW-NO-WAKE. The speed at which a boat moves as slowly as possible while still maintaining steerage control.
   (E)   Controlled area. No person shall operate a boat faster than slow-no-wake (three nautical miles per hour) in the waters of the Pepin Harbor at any time.
   (F)   Posting requirements. The village shall place and maintain a copy of this prohibition at all public access points within the jurisdiction of the village.
