Each operator of a commercial golf cart shall comply with the following:
(A) Each operator of a golf cart must have a valid driver’s license;
(B) All riders must remain seated when golf cart is in motion;
(C) Number of occupants shall comply with seat belt regulations, if said commercial golf cart was originally equipped with seat belts;
(D) Commercial golf carts may be operated on village streets between one-half hour (30 minutes) after sunrise and 1:00 a.m.;
(E) No commercial golf cart shall exceed the posted speed limit;
(F) Freedom to operate under all weather conditions;
(G) Commercial golf carts shall operate in single file on the far right side of the roadway;
(H) No item can be towed by a commercial golf cart;
(I) No operator/person shall leave or allow any commercial golf cart owned or operated by him or her to remain unattended on any public street, highway or public property while the motor is running or with starting key left in the ignition;
(J) Certificate allows operator to charge a fee for services. The fare shall be posted in clear view of all passengers;
(K) Refusal of passenger to pay legal fare. It shall be unlawful for any person to refuse to pay the legal fare of any vehicle licensed under this subchapter after having hired the same, and it shall be unlawful for any person to hire any shuttle or non-emergency vehicle with intent to defraud the person from whom it is hired, of the value of such service; and
(L) Each commercial golf cart shall be operated in compliance with Ch. 73.
