Every person, firm, or corporation applying for a permit under this subchapter shall submit with his or her application a bond with a surety conditioned on his or her compliance with all the provisions of this chapter and agreeing to pay and holding the village harmless from any claim arising against it by reason of the occupancy of any street, sidewalk, alley, or other public place by the building or structure moved. Said bond shall be in a dollar amount as approved by the Village Board, made payable to the Village of Peotone, and filed with the Village Clerk.
