§ 31.053 VACANCIES.

In case the office of Village Clerk shall become vacant for any reason, the Village President, by and with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees, shall, with the concurrence of the Board of Trustees, appoint a successor to fill out the unexpired term, as is provided by statute.
