§ 135.01 DISCHARGE OF WEAPONS PROHIBITED; EXCEPTIONS.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to fire or discharge any firearm, rifle, shotgun, airgun, air pistol, spring gun, spring pistol, bow or other device which is calculated or intended to propel or project a bullet, pellet, pointed arrow or similar projectile in the village, except:
   (A)   Arrows may be propelled on a range supervised by the Athletic Department of the Public Schools;
   (B)   This section shall not apply to peace officers who discharge a weapon while engaged in their official duties; and,
   (C)   This section shall not apply to citizens who discharge a weapon while lawfully defending their person or property.
