§ 97.55 PERMIT REQUIRED; APPLICATION.

It shall be unlawful to dig in, tunnel under, or make any excavation in or under any street, alley, or other public way in the village without a permit therefor. Applications for such permits shall be made to the Village Clerk, but no such permit shall be issued, except in case of emergencies, excepting on order of the Board of Trustees.
