The contractor shall restore all public ways and other public property disturbed, to its previous condition, under the supervision of and to the satisfaction of specified Village Engineer and the Director of Public Services; and in the event of the failure, neglect, or refusal of said contractor so to do, the village may do said work and charge the cost thereof to the contractor.
