§ 91.29 NUMBER OF ANIMALS PERMITTED TO BE REGISTERED PER HOUSEHOLD.
Registration tags shall not be issued for more than three dogs per family or dwelling. However, a household may have more than three dogs over the age of four months provided the dogs were owned by the household prior to May 1, 2003. Proof of ownership prior to May 1, 2003, in the form of vaccination records, must be supplied at the time of registration. In any event, should a dog cease to permanently reside at the household for any reason, it may not be replaced if the replacement dog will cause the total number of dogs to exceed the limit of three dogs per family or household.
