No person shall operate a NV upon any public highway, unless said NV is covered by a liability insurance policy as required under ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, §§ 7-601 et seq. Every operator of a NV shall, subject to ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 7-601, carry within the NV evidence of insurance. The evidence shall be legible and sufficient to demonstrate that the NV is currently covered by a liability policy as required under ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 7-601.
