It shall be unlawful for any person to start, ignite or maintain a fire within the roadway boundaries of any public street or highway within the Village which has been improved with a bituminous surface. A violation of this section shall be considered a misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine as provided in section 1-4-1 of this Code. (Ord. 215, 11-3-1941; amd. 2016 Code)
