In the event that any "person", as defined in section 6-2-1 of this chapter, receives a non-9-1-1 request for emergency services, other than a direct request through the village communications center for emergency services to a person within the village, that person or entity shall immediately relay the information to the village communications center, and the person or entity shall inform the caller that, on future emergency calls for emergency services, the caller should first call 9-1-1 to request emergency services.
