When it is necessary for police officers to provide traffic control work in the Village during construction projects or other situations, that traffic control work shall be performed exclusively by Peninsula Police officers unless it is determined by the Peninsula Chief of Police that Peninsula officers are unable to perform such work on an exclusive basis. Only in that event may police officers from other jurisdictions perform such traffic control work in the Village.
