EDITOR’S NOTE: The Village has no Fire Department. It is a member with Boston Township of a Joint Fire District.
The Board of Fire Trustees may exercise the same powers as are granted to a Board of Township Trustees in Ohio R.C. 505.37 to 505.45, but excluding the power to levy a tax upon all taxable property in the Fire District as provided in Ohio R.C. 505.39. The Board of Fire District Trustees may execute any mutual aid contract which in the judgment of the Board is necessary to enhance fire protection within the Valley Fire District as well as surrounding areas.
