The stormwater pollution prevention plan, including erosion and sediment control measures, shall meet the requirements contained in 327 IAC Article 15, the forthcoming construction stormwater general permit to be adopted by the ERB and the current town stormwater drainage standards.
(A) Gasoline outlets and refueling areas. Gasoline outlets and refueling areas must install appropriate practices to reduce lead, copper, zinc, and polyaromatic hydrocarbons in stormwater runoff. These requirements will apply to all new facilities and existing facilities that replace their tanks, regardless of size.
(B) Sensitive areas. Sensitive areas include, but are not limited to, highly credible land, wetlands, injection wells, wellhead protection areas, and surface drinking water sources. In the event that a project site is determined to impact or discharge to a sensitive area, the town may require more stringent stormwater quantity or quality measures than detailed in this subchapter or in the current town storm drainage standards.
