(A) Industrial users who can be defined as a significant industrial user as shown in § 50.072 of this chapter shall obtain a permit to discharge from the town.
(B) Those industrial and commercial users, regardless of classification, who receive public sewer service from the town but no public water service must also obtain a permit to discharge from the town.
(C) The Chief Operator may require other users to obtain individual wastewater discharge permits as necessary to carry out the purposes of this chapter.
(D) All other users who cannot be classified as users in divisions (A), (B) and (C) above will not be required to obtain a permit to discharge.
(E) Any violation of the terms and conditions of an individual wastewater discharge permit shall be deemed a violation of this chapter and subjects the waste water discharge permittee to the sanctions set out in §§ 50.185 through 50.189 of this chapter. Obtaining an individual wastewater discharge permit does not relieve a permittee of its obligation to comply with all federal and state pretreatment standards or requirements or with any other requirements of federal, state, and local law.
