No person shall maliciously, willfully, or negligently break, damage, destroy, uncover, deface or tamper with any equipment or materials belonging to the town or to S.C. DHEC and used for the purpose of making measurements, tests, or examinations and left upon the premises of a person discharging sewerage into the sewerage system. This protection against damage shall also apply to any part of the sewerage system. Any person found violating this section shall be subject to immediate arrest and prosecution.
