For residential customers where more than one single-family unit (apartments, mobile home parks, etc.) is served through one water meter or where more than one commercial establishment is served through the water meter, the town shall charge a water service rate of $2 less than the minimum billing period charge for an individual user times the number of units connected to the service. This is meant to include 100% of the units in existence. In the event the total metered flow exceeds the number of units multiplied by the minimum flow allowed, each additional 1,000 gallons shall be billed at the prevailing rate.
