(A) Definitions. The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this section, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
AFTER DARK. The time during which the streetlights of the town are, or should be, lighted.
(B) Equipment requirements. Every bicycle, when in use after dark, shall be equipped with a lamp
on the front which shall emit a white light visible from a distance of at least 500 feet to the front and with a red reflector on the rear which shall be visible from all distances from 50 feet to 300 feet to the rear, when directly in front of the head lamps on a motor vehicle. A red lamp emitting a red light visible from a distance of 500 feet to the rear may be used in addition to the red reflector.
