§ 70.109 DESIGNATED PARKING FOR SPECIAL EVENTS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to park any vehicle on any street designated and posted within the Town of Pendleton during any event.
   (B)   The town shall post conspicuous signs at least two days in advance of such event on the street designated for such an event. The posted signs shall be no less than eleven inches by 17 inches and shall state the days, date and times the street is to be closed and shall state that vehicles may be towed at owner's expense listing the name and phone number of who to call if towed. There shall be a minimum of four signs posted in each block of street that is to be closed. The signs shall remain in place until the event has ended. The Police Department shall have the authority to keep the street opened or closed in the interest of Public Safety.
   (C)   Vehicles in violation of this chapter may be towed at the request of the Police Department, at the owner's expense. Vehicles may not be towed unless a citation is written by the Police Department.
   (D)   Violation of this section is a misdemeanor and the owner or operator of the vehicle in violation shall be fined up to $500 and/or imprisonment not exceeding 30 days at the discretion of the Court.
