§ 70.071 WHEN THE MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT IN A RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD CAN BE FURTHER REDUCED.
   Whenever the Town Council shall determine, after receipt of a petition signed by 15% of the residents of a particular residential street and after a traffic engineering study of the particular residential street, and after a public hearing, Town Council may further lower the maximum speed limit on the street(s) in said residential area by chapter designating the street(s) in such residential area as having a maximum speed limit lower than 25 miles per hour. The cost of the traffic engineering study shall be borne by the neighborhood requesting the speed limit change.
