§ 34.06 EMERGENCY PURCHASING.
   (A)   EMERGENCY PURCHASES are defined as expenditures which require immediate attention for replacement or repair, or cannot wait for the procedures of this chapter to be followed.
   (B)   Any emergency which affects the health and safety of the general public falls in the “immediate attention” category. Purchases under these conditions require no bids. The need for emergency purchasing shall be documented within two days after the emergency and records shall be maintained.
