§ 113.06 PERMITS AND LICENSES.
   (A)   Permits.
      (1)   No junkyard or open storage area shall be located on an individual lot, parcel, or site in the town without a permit therefor, issued by the Town Building Department. The Police Department will conduct a on site inspection of the proposed junkyard upon the issuance of a permit.
      (2)   A state permit shall also be required for any junkyard or open storage area located on any state or federal highway.
   (B)   Licenses. Non-conforming junkyards located on individual lots, parcels or sites in the town and actually in existence at the effective date of this chapter and which are to continue to be operated as ongoing enterprises shall secure a non-conforming junkyard license, issued by the Town Building Department.
   (C)   Applications for permits and licenses.  
      (1)   All applications for permits to locate, erect, or operate a junkyard or open storage area and licenses to continue the operation of a non-conforming junkyard shall be in triplicate on forms provided by the Town Building Department and shall be signed by the applicant(s).
      (2)   One copy of the application shall be returned to the applicant after it has been marked approved or disapproved and attested to the same in writing. One marked copy shall be submitted to the Tax Assessor’s Office, and the original copy similarly marked shall be retained by the Town Building Department and copied for the Police Department.
