Violation of this chapter or failure to comply with any of its provisions shall be a misdemeanor. Any person found guilty of such misdemeanor shall be fined no more than $500 and/or imprisonment not exceeding 30 days. Each day the violation or failure to comply continues shall be considered a separate offense.
