The Planning Commission shall consist of seven members to be appointed by the Town Council. The terms of office of the members shall be for four years, except that, of the seven members first appointed, two shall be appointed for a term of one year, two for two years, two for three years, and one for four years. Any vacancy in Commission membership shall be filled for the unexpired term by the members of Council who shall also have the authority to remove any Commission member for cause, on written charges, after a public hearing. All members shall serve without compensation but may be reimbursed for actual expenses incurred in connection with their official duties.
