(A) The owner or keeper shall not allow any dead animal to remain on that person’s property longer than 24 hours without sanitary disposal. This prohibits the placing of the dead animal on the right-of-way to be picked up by the town’ sanitation department.
(B) For purposes of this section, “sanitary disposal” includes burial of individual animals in accord with applicable state law, as from time to time amended, regulating the burial of dead animals.
