§ 51.31 RECYCLING.
   (A)   Curbside recycling is available to town residents and businesses. Residents and businesses will be issued one recycling bin. If an additional bin is needed or desired, upon request, one will be provided at no additional charge.
   (B)   What can you recycle?
      (1)   Plastic. Soft drink bottles, milk jugs, water bottles, detergent containers, bleach containers, food containers, and shampoo bottles, items with number one or two recycling symbol on it. Lids shall be removed and containers rinsed and cleaned out.
      (2)   Aluminum cans. All aluminum drink cans. No pie plates, foil, or aerosol. All cans shall be rinsed and cleaned out.
      (3)   Steel cans. Food and juice cans. Cans shall be rinsed and cleaned out.
      (4)   Glass. Clear, green or brown jars and bottles only. Lids shall be removed and glass rinsed and cleaned out.
      (5)   Mixed paper. Newspaper, magazines, paperbacks, writing.
      (6)   Paper, computer paper, paper grocery bags, cereal boxes. Do not tie with string.
      (7)   Cardboard. Corrugated cardboard only. Cardboard shall have no wax coting. Cardboard shall be flattened and placed beside the recycling bin.
   (C)   All items, other than cardboard, may be mixed together in the blue recycling bin.
   (D)   Recycling bins shall be placed at curbside no later than 7:30 a.m. on the day of your scheduled collection and removed from curbside by 9:00 p.m. on the day of collection. Recycling bins shall be stored as close to the principal structure as possible and out of general curbside, sidewalk or collection area.
