§ 51.04 COLLECTION PRACTICES.
   (A)   In general, the town will be responsible for the collection of wastes which come under the following waste categories:
      (1)   Garbage.
      (2)   Market refuse.
      (3)   General rubbish.
      (4)   YARD WASTE. Residential pick up only, unless the retail, commercial, institutional and industrial units pay the sanitation fee charged by the town.
      (5)   Ashes.
      (6)   General bulk waste.
      (7)   Residential bulk waste.
   (B)   The town shall make specific collections of refuse and other waste as follows:
      (1)   Residential units.
         (a)   Single residential units and multiple residential units using roll-out containers.
            1.   Garbage, general rubbish, and ashes. Garbage, general rubbish and ashes shall be collected from all single-family residential units using roll-out containers and from all multiple residential units using roll-out containers for the storage of refuse on a regular schedule of one pickup per week. Users shall pay a fee, set by Council, per roll-out container.
            2.   Leaves, yard waste and residential bulk waste. When feasible, leaves, yard waste and residential bulk waste will be collected on your regular scheduled garbage pickup day. Residents having waste of this type should call the town hall for instructions on handling. Additional rates may be charged for such services at the discretion of the town.
            3.   The disposal of small dead animals shall be the responsibility of the owner, where feasible, and picked up by the town only by specific authorization of the Public Works Director.
            4.   All other collectible waste classifications. No other types of collectible wastes than those specified in this division (a) will be collected by the Sanitation Department from single residential units and multiple residential units using roll-out containers.
         (b)   Multiple residential units using bulk containers.
            1.   Garbage, general rubbish, yard waste and ashes shall be collected from all multiple residential units using bulk containers on a regular schedule of at least one pick up per week. User shall pay a fee, set by Council, for each pickup and size of container.
            2.   Residential bulk waste. When feasible, residential bulk waste will be collected on your regular scheduled garbage pickup day. Residents having waste of this type should call the town hall for instructions on handling. Additional rates may be charged for such services at the discretion of the town.
            3.   All other collectible waste classifications. No other types of collectible wastes than those specified in this division b. will be collected by the Sanitation Department from multiple residential units using the town's bulk container service. Refuse set or dumped outside of a bulk container shall not be collected.
      (2)   Business and institutional units.
         (a)   Retail, commercial, institutional and industrial units using roll-out containers.
            1.   Garbage, market refuse, general rubbish and ashes shall be collected from all retail, commercial, institutional and industrial units using rollout containers on a regular schedule of at least one pick up per week. User shall pay a fee set by Council for each roll-out container.
            2.   General bulk waste. When feasible, general bulk waste items will be collected on your regular scheduled garbage pickup day. Businesses and institutional units having waste of this type should call the town hall for instructions on handling. Additional rates may be charged for such services at the discretion of the town.
            3.   All other collectible waste classifications. No other types of collectible waste than those specified in this division (2)(a) will be collected by the Sanitation Department.
         (b)   Retail, commercial, institutional and industrial units using bulk container service.
            1.   Garbage, market refuse, general rubbish and ashes. Garbage, market refuse, general rubbish and ashes shall be collected from all retail, commercial, institutional and industrial units using bulk containers on a schedule either designated by or approved by the Public Works Director. Pickups per week may run from as few as one per week to as many as five per week depending on the service required and the particular circumstances of the specific user. Bulk container users shall pay a fee, set by Council, for each pickup and size of container.
            2.   All other waste collections. No other types of collectible waste than those specified in this division (2)(b) will be collected by the Sanitation Department from retail, commercial, institutional and industrial units using bulk container service. Refuse set or dumped outside of a bulk container shall not be collected.
         (c)   In order to qualify for town collection, waste containers shall be leased only from the town.
