§ 113.05 INVESTIGATION OF APPLICANT.
   (A)   Upon receipt of the application provided for in § 113.04, the City Clerk shall submit the necessary data to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to obtain a criminal background report.
   (B)   If, as a result of such investigation, the applicant's character or business responsibility is found to be unsatisfactory, the City Clerk shall endorse on the application his disapproval and his reasons therefor, and shall notify the applicant that his application is disapproved and that no permit and local business tax receipt will be issued.
   (C)   Should the City Clerk find that the character of the applicant is satisfactory, he or she shall notify the applicant that a permit for solicitor or canvasser shall be issued upon payment of the prescribed applicable local business tax receipt fees.
