§ 96.08 REGULATIONS.
   (A)   Whenever the Mayor, by proclamation, shall declare that danger from rabies is great, it shall be unlawful to permit any dog to go upon any public street, alley or sidewalk or other public place, unless such dog is securely muzzled.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or harbor a vicious dog.
   (C)   It shall be unlawful for any person to abandon a dog, for any reason, within the corporate limits of the city.
   (D)   If any dog shall become vicious or shall attempt to bite or injure any officer while performing the duties herein required of him or her, such officer may immediately kill such dog. It shall be unlawful for any person to hinder, delay or obstruct any police officer in the execution of the duties herein required or to aid or abet in hindering, delaying or obstructing such officer.
