A. Tenants: A tenant cannot have more than one account at any given time. A tenant cannot start service at a property if the tenant has a delinquent balance for any other village utility accounts (active or inactive). If a tenant with a delinquent balance moves to another residence in the village of Pawnee, the utilities will be in the new landlord's name until the tenant's delinquent account is paid in full. Unpaid utility bills, in addition to appropriate administrative fees incurred by the village to recoup delinquent balance, not paid timely will be subject to collection in accordance with section 14-1-17 of this chapter.
