The weight limit set forth in section 5-3-1 of this chapter shall not apply to school buses, moving vans, state, county or municipally owned vehicles or vehicles used in the maintenance or repair of streets within the village limits; nor shall the limitation apply to State Highway 104, also known as Carroll Street.
