A. Plumbing Code Adopted: All installations of plumbing made in the City shall meet the specifications for materials, apparatus and installations as set forth in and in conformity with the provisions of part II of the "Plumbing Code recommended by the subcommittee on plumbing of the Department of Commerce Building Code Committee" as the same appears in that certain publication of the United States Department of Commerce, Bureau of Standards, as Pamphlet BHI3, which recommended Plumbing Code is hereby adopted as the Plumbing Code of the City, one (1) copy of the above adopted Code being on file in the Office of the City Clerk and properly certified as being the officially adopted and certified Plumbing Code of the City.
B. Inspection Of Installations: Before being enclosed, all plumbing installations shall be inspected by a person designated by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. (1975 Code § 3-401; amd. 1989 Code)
