A. Numbering System:
1. All structures in the city located on the north side of the street and west from Main Street shall be even numbers and those on the south side of the street west from Main Street shall be odd numbers;
2. All numbers on the north side of the street east from Main Street shall be odd numbers and those on the south side of the street east from Main Street shall be even numbers;
3. All numbers on the west side of the street north from Ellis Street shall be odd numbers and all those on the east side of the street north from Ellis Street shall be even numbers;
4. All numbers on the west side of the street south from Ellis Street shall be even and all those on the east side of the street south from Ellis Street shall be odd numbers.
B. Assignment Of Numbers: There shall be one number assigned for each twelve and one-half feet (121/2') of frontage upon a street and numbers shall be assigned as to result in uniformity of numbering throughout the city.
C. Plat Of City Streets And Numbers: The city clerk shall prepare a plat of the city upon which numbers shall be assigned from time to time and the numbers shall commence on streets running in the city and shall show thereon the numbers assigned by the city clerk according to the plan specified in this chapter and to each lot shown upon said plat. The numbers shall run from 0 to 99 in the first block east and the first block west of Main Street and from 100 to 199 in the second block east and the second block west, and so on east and west within the city the numbers shall run from 0 to 99 in the first block north and the first block south of Ellis Street and from 100 to 199 in the second block north and the second block south and so on north and south within the city.
