(A) For minor violations of the IPMC Property Maintenance Code, 30 days will be granted for the correction or remediation of the violation. For major violations of the above, six months will be granted for the correction or remediation of the violation. For the purposes of this section, minor violations are those which require less than $500 to repair, major violations are all other violations. All inspections under this subchapter will be performed by a certified inspector, as selected by the village.
(B) No grace period shall be extended for any violation, major or minor, should the violation pose a serious or imminent risk to public health and/or safety.
