(A) No person shall permit any pet, whether with or without a leash, to be in Lela McGuire Jeffery Park.
(B) A PET is hereby defined to be any animal kept for pleasure rather than utility.
(C) This section shall not apply to:
(1) Any guide dog, signal dog, service dog or other animal individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability;
(2) Dogs used by or under the authority of police or law enforcement agencies for law enforcement purposes; or
(3) Pets that are part of a special event or an exhibit at a special event held in Lela McGuire Jeffery Park.
