(A) Rates for collection of single- and two-family dwellings shall be determined by the bid of contractor and made part of the agreement between the village and the contractor.
(B) The owner(s) of single- and two-family dwellings will be billed for the collection, transportation and disposal of solid waste by the village as an additional, separate item on the utility bill of the village. The owner(s) must pay the billing when due by the due date as shown on the statement that they receive from the village on a monthly or bi-monthly basis.
(C) All terms of payment and responsibility for payment shall be the same as set forth in Chapter 52. Failure to pay any solid waste collection, transportation and disposal charge may result in termination of solid waste collection services or assessment of unpaid charges as a tax lien against the property. Termination of services for failure to pay may result in a violation of § 50.16 and be subject to a penalty as set forth in § 50.99.
