On the second Tuesday in June and every two years thereafter there shall be elected by the qualified voters of said city a Recorder. The Recorder shall hold their office for a term of two years for the next election (2022), and will start serving four-year terms in elections thereafter (2024), commencing on the first day of July and until their successors have been elected and qualified.
The Mayor will hold their office for a term of four years starting in the next election (2022) and thereafter, commencing on the first day of the month succeeding election and until their successors have been elected and qualified.
