7-2-9: FUELING RULES AND REGULATIONS:
   A.   No aircraft shall be fueled or drained of fuel while the engine is running.
   B.   No person in or upon areas where fueling or defueling is being conducted shall do or fail to do any act if the doing or omission thereof endangers or is likely to unreasonably endanger persons or property.
   C.   No person shall operate any radio transmitter or receiver or switch electrical appliances off or on in an aircraft during fueling or defueling.
   D.   During fueling, the aircraft and the fuel dispensing apparatus shall both be grounded to a point or points of zero electrical potential.
   E.   Persons engaged in the fueling and defueling of aircraft shall exercise care to prevent overflow of fuel.
   F.   Fueling hoses and defueling equipment shall be maintained in a safe condition.
   G.   Adequate fire extinguishers shall be within ready reach of personnel engaged in fueling and defueling operations. (Ord. 391, 5-24-1982; amd. Ord. 552, 3-9-2009)
