(a) The Board or any designated enforcement official may institute a suit for injunction in the Circuit Court of Wood County, West Virginia, in the name of the City, to restrain an individual or a governmental unit from violating the provisions of the Building Code. The Board or any designated enforcement official may also institute a suit for mandatory injunction in the Circuit Court of Wood County, West Virginia, in the name of the City, directing an individual or governmental unit to remove a structure erected in violation of the provisions of this Building Code. If the Board or any designated enforcement official is successful in its suit, the respondent shall bear the costs of the action.
