6-1-5: POWERS AND DUTIES OF CHIEF:
All personnel of the police department and all matters pertaining to the administration of the department shall be placed under the control and supervision of the chief of police, however, all fiscal matters pertaining to the department shall be coordinated with the town manager. (1988 Code § 3-2-1)
