6-1-2: COMPENSATION OF OFFICERS:

The chief of police and the police officers of the town shall be compensated as determined by the council. The chief of police shall not receive any perquisites, commissions or compensation for his services as chief of police, except as the council may prescribe. (1988 Code § 4-1-3; amd. 2004 Code)
