9-1-5: WATER ALLOCATION REQUIRED FOR CERTAIN RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENTS 1 :
   A.   Building Construction: Under circumstances when a lot split is requested, no building permit will be issued for any single- family or multi-family residential units to be developed on parcels or lots within the town's water service area in excess of the number of units permitted under applicable zoning regulations without first obtaining a water service letter pursuant to title 8, chapter 3, article A of this code.
   B.   Residential Subdivisions And Lot Splits: No final approval of a residential subdivision plat by the town council nor final approval of a residential lot split by the planning and zoning commission pursuant to this code within the town's water service area will be granted without first obtaining a water service letter pursuant to title 8, chapter 3, article A of this code.
