7-4-2: PARKING INOPERABLE OR UNREGISTERED VEHICLES RESTRICTED:
   A.   Inoperable Vehicle:
      1.   No person shall park or permit to be parked on any property any vehicle which is inoperable and is visible from beyond the boundary of the lot. (1988 Code § 10-1-17)
      2.   Parking inoperable vehicles on town property without the express consent of the town is prohibited. A person found responsible for a violation of this subsection A2 during one calendar day shall be fined fifty dollars ($50.00) A person found responsible for a violation of this subsection A2 during two (2) consecutive calendar days shall be fined one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00). A person found responsible for a violation of this subsection A2 during three (3) consecutive calendar days shall be fined three hundred dollars ($300.00). The fine shall increase an additional one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) per day for each calendar day thereafter. These fines are in addition to any remedies available to the town pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes title 28, chapter 11. It is an affirmative defense to a violation of this subsection A2 that the vehicle was inoperable for less than two (2) hours. (2004 Code)
   B.   Unregistered Vehicle: No person shall park or permit to be parked on any lot any vehicle which does not display current registration and is visible from beyond the boundary of the lot. This subsection shall not apply to operable "off road recreational motor vehicles" designed primarily for recreational, nonhighway, all terrain travel. (1988 Code § 10-1-17)
